| May the Almighty Computer Force be with You SYSTEM RESTORE. AFTER YOUR WINDOW OS is back Make sure your SYSTEM RESTORE is not disabled Go to MY Computer Properties File Advanced Make sure the SYSTEM RESTORE does not have a check beside it. SET (THE SLIDER) MAX for a few weeks Later you can drop it back if you want,I leave mine on MAX just to be extra cautious and to make sure I get my system restore points Set your PC for Window's update notifications, but you DECIDE if you want or need them. The important ones are important for a reason, install them. When everything is perfect make your VERY OWN RESTORE POINT. DO THIS when everything is a OK How System restore works for you: When your computer starts misbehaving, it would be nice to "turn back the clock" to a time when it still did what you wanted it to. With Windows System Restore that's exactly what you can do. System Restore will store all the Windows settings at particular points in time called "checkpoints." Later, when things go wrong, you can reset Windows to an earlier checkpoint. Checkpoints are created automatically by Windows.Certain programs can tell Windows to save a checkpoint before installation. Since very few programs can do this now, you can also manually tell Windows to save a checkpoint at any time. To do so, go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Choose "Create a Restore Point" and click Next, enter a name for the checkpoint that tells you why it was saved (e.g., "Before installing MS Office"). The date and time will be added automaticaly. Click Next and the checkpoint is saved for future use. Restoring From A Checkpoint To rollback to a previous checkpoint, go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Choose "Restore my computer to an earlier time" and click Next. Find the checkpoint you want from the calendar list. Only dates in bold numbers have checkpoints. You'll have at least one checkpoint created when Windows was first installed. When you've selected the time you want to restore, make sure that all other programs are closed and any documents or other files are saved and closed. Click Next. Windows will restore the settings then automatically restart your computer (this is necessary for all the settings to be accepted). After the restart, you'll see a screen confirming the restoration. If this checkpoint doesn't fix the problem, you could try another checkpoint or return to where you started from using System Restore again. Please note: System Restore only works for internal settings. It won't remove any programs or documents nor can it recover deleted documents or previous versions of documents. | Turn the stupid music down on this UTUBE and play something you like. This is what I did a few months ago on my older PC,bought in 2010 that has been sitting waiting patiently for me to fix it. Evidently was not the power supply. For now it makes a great doorstop. We had a severe electrical storm right before it died.No lights,no action, will not even turn on.Maybe it's the starter button ,then again maybe the electric fried it. So.two computers in less then two years, they just are not making them like they used this. Hopefully this one will last many years :) |

It is easy to see why Bast the Cat Goddess has been associated with pleasure, music and dancing for millennium. Just think of your own sensual, comfort-seeking cat who loves to be stroked and petted, gets tipsy on catnip and can often be found curled up in the coziest places in the house! Cats also love to play, their graceful movements resembling lighthearted dancing with their purring as musical accompaniment. Bast offers to teach us to refuse to take things too seriously, to luxuriate in our grace and sensuality, and to never waste our energy. It's easy to see why someone as obsessed with cats, music, art, dancing and drumming feels drawn to Bast. |
| How the name ZIMBABAST came to be I go by Phoenix now but years ago (2000) when I started this web site,I was known in chatrooms as Zimba, and I love cats;hence the name. |
