                            ~~My Father~~
Today a light that shined so bright in my life has flickered and faded away .
My father was a strong man.
He raised my older sister, younger sister and only brother to be strong.
My dear mother remained his one true love to the very end.
They shared a love through thick and thin;good times and bad times.
There love never failed.
My mother's blue eyes he loved so much will not sparkle quite like they did when he was by her side
He was such a man,my father.
He showed his love for us by working hard everyday that he was able.
He was many things.
He served in World War II and received the purple heart.
He loved to fish, hunt and play pool.
He was a sharpshooter who was hard to match.
He loved fast cars and motorcycles too.
Whatever he did he did it too the max.
I remember so many things thinking back... I worked by his side cutting timber in the freezing cold.
We trapped together and he taught me how to fish.
We went hunting and I learned to shoot a gun
My dad taught me to never run and hide~
He said to face life as if it were a battle
Be strong!
He told me Make sure life is sweet the bed you make is where you will sleep.
No more suffering,no more pain~
No more smiles and laughter to cheer me when I am sad
No more stories will I hear him tell or the singing of country songs he loved so well
I was his #2 daughter as he always said and this will never change.
I am a bit lost but I am finding my way.
After all he's just around the bend .
He's everywhere.

Who passed from this earth Wednesday January 31st at 10:30 AM in the year of our Lord 2001.
Your Son, Daughters, Grand-Children, Wife, Brother, and the rest of your family will always love you, and miss you.

Dear Dad,
Thank you Dad for teaching me how to light a fire with one match.
How to hit a bird on the wing or a running rabbit, and how to put a round in a fleas butt at 200 yards.
Also how to find my way out of the mountains, how to trap a fox and other critters, and basically how to ride tall and shoot straight when it came to life.
Thank you for always being there with your insight. Your smile and warm heart are dearly missed.
But they will reside forever, in my heart, and the hearts of those that loved you.
I love you Dad.
Your Son,
Bob
