Penuche Frosting from Great Grandma Martz)

  Mix together very good

  2 2/3 cups brown sugar packed

  1/2 cup milk

  1/3 cup butter or Fleishman's

  Stir real good over low heat stirring constant-then bring to rapid boil 220 degrees about 1-5 min until tests like fudge

  Beat it and spread it
Cyndi's Traditional Valentine Cheesecake

  2 philadelphia cheese

  1 can sweetened condensed milk

  1 graham cracker pie crust

  1/4 cup real lemon

  a bit of vanilla

  Blend well and pour into crust

  Let chill for at least 4 hours

  Top with bluberries or cherries canned in sugar sauce (Comstock)
Grandma Cyndi Cakes to make that Butt shake

Prep Time 3 min...Cook time 4 min Makes about 14 cakes
 
  2 cups of Bisqick
  1 cup milk
  2 eggs
  2 Tbsp Real Lemon
  or a shake of   Vanilla Extract
  4 tsp sugar
  2 tsp baking powder

Stir ingredients until blended(Wire whisk)
Pour onto HOT griddle
Cook until edges are dry,turn cook until golden

Extra's***

Fresh bluberries 1 cup
Chocalate Chips 1/2 cup

Leftovers can be frozen and reheated...Yummy! :)
German Meatloaf from Grandma Martz

  3 pounds of sirloin burger

  1 package creme cheese (Center bits and pieces inside loaf)

  1 can Rotel(Mild or Hot)

  2 cans tom. paste

  A bit of ketchup

  diced onion

  3 eggs

  diced g.pepper

  Mix well after adding either crushed breadcrumbs or oatmeal

  Bake at 325 degrees for app. 2 1/2 hours
Four Generation Iced Tea
About 2 1/2 cups of water or a coffee pot full of water to brew with 7 Lipton or OUR OWN teabags
If using stove bring to rolling boil
take off heat and add 7 teabags

Let steep for at least 20 min

Fill gal container half way with very cold water

take teabags out of water

add 2 cups sugar,stir until dissolved

add 1/4 cup real lemon to cold water in gal jar

pour tea mixture into cold water
serve cold over ice

P.S....my Grandmother Martz used fresh mint and 1 1/2 cup sugar

My own homemade recipe
Delicious Egg Custard (Lite)

1. 6 eggs slightly beaten
2. 2 tablespoons sugar
3. 1/2 teaspoon salt
4. 5 or 6 Sweet & Low

4 cups milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
nutmeg
Cool Whip (Lite)

Mix together and …. add
2 cups scalded milk slowly
Then another 2 cups scalded milk.
Add 1 tablespoon vanilla
Pour in 8 Pam greased custard cups.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Put in a rectangular cake pan filled with hot water.
Bake at 325 degrees about 25 minutes or until knife comes
out clean.
Cool.
Serve with Cool Whip (Lite).
Balsamic Vingerette

  1/4 cup olive oil

  2 Tbs balsamic vinegar

  1/2 tea salt

  lots of fresh herbs

  A pinch of sugar
                  Vivian Martz Foolproof Fudge (MAMA)

  Makes 2 pounds

  3(8oz.)packages semi-sweet choc chips

  1(14oz) can EagleBrand sweetened condensed milk

  Dash of salt
  1 /2- 1 cup chopped nuts
  1 1/2 tsp.vanilla extract

  In heavy saucepan,over low heat,melt choc chips with sweetened con. milk and salt

 
  Remove from heat,stir in nuts and vanilla

  Spread evenly into wax paper lined 8 or 9 inch sq. pan

  Chill for 2 hours or until firm

  Turn fudge into cutting board;peel off paper and cut into squares
TEXAS CHILI

  from Bartley's BBQ (Grapevine,Texas)

  3 lbs hamburger

  3-4 cloves garlic

  1 lg onion chopped

  5-6 Tbs chili powder

  1 Tbs paprika (mild)

  1 Tbs cumin

  1 tsp.oregeno

  1 tsp cayenne pepper

  1tsp salt

  8 oz.tom. sauce
 
  1/2 cup stewed tomatoes or (fresh)

  1 can kidney beans

  Simmer for 1 1/2 hours

  Serve over noodles or ,rice
 
  Or enjoy plain with garlic tst,topped with grated cheese
