A knock on the door and a new addition was added. Her name is China, she is just a wee kitten. So sweet, trained, indoor cat,no fleas, healthy, has papers.I took pictures. She has bullseye markings like Cinnamon had.Minnie and Shy acted up,my China has voice. She has remained either at the top of my computer chair or in my lap.She even let me cut her nails. She has a nice deposition. 5:51 PM 8/6/2011 China slept curled in my arms and NOW Minnie is kinda aloof. She has not been in too visit Shy today either.I guess everybody is kinda upset with the new addition.Poor China hisses and purrs really loud at different times. She just jumped UP on my lap from the bed.Minnie was already there, that was interesting 10:28 PM 8/6/2011 I trimmed most of her nails and she got bored and antsy. 6:37 PM 8/7/2011 She was so hungry, she chowed down. Her ears are the cleanest I have ever seen in a cat.She is biting and itching on occasion, but no fleas have jumped on me.I made her a litter box for her only.I believe she wet my bed coverlet as I found her completely covered this am.I am glad I didn't smash her when I rolled over.No poo too be seen anywhere, but I am sure it is well hidden and getting very hard as I write but I haven't smelled any?I need to get her papers and find out if she is fixed. The girl told me she had her shots. 2:28 PM 8/8/2011 Some young lady just knocked on the door and said that's my cat, well it's my mother's cat and we want her back.I am presently washing and drying three loads of pee coverlets, bedsheets and spreads.I guess I could have said No but I have no papers and that is what I would need for proof.Funny thing I had just moments earlier went to the ex I thought owner, the one that gave me the cat and told her I needed the papers. Believe me if I had those papers that girl would have no cat.I miss China already. 2:54 PM 8/8/2011 I am sad.Rhea and I went over and talked to the girl that gave me China. She said the other girl's mama just got out of prison and they do not take care of China. We told her we just got her trained and she was starving. She said she was giving her bread and milk.I am so mad at myself for giving her back.I hope they do not throw her in the woods. 9:50 PM 8/8/2011 Everything that China peed on washed, missing my nightgown, she laid on me and let it go.Ah,I miss her.She pooped in the litter box this am after I wiped her soiled area's and put the paper towel in her litter box. 2:07 AM 8/9/2011 She left a paw print on my heart;I miss her. Poem for China Your purrs still echo in my heart You were so playful, warm and cuddly You was my China Doll For a moment You were loved Meow 6:20 PM 8/9/2011 I prayed last night that China would be safe and come back home to us if she possibly could.Today while finishing up my laundry,I went to see the original girl that gave us China. She said the other girl brings her to her house everyday and all she did was CRY and pee over everything.I told her we really missed her.About 20 minutes later a knock at the door. There she was with China and handed her too me and said "she is yours now for good.I spoke with my friend and told her how much you loved her and she said OK,give her back" Rhea and I are so happy. She was starving again and ate a entire 1/2 can in seconds. No crying here. 9:51 PM 8/9/2011 She is sleeping on the big pillow in the living room by the kitchen.Minnie is in here in her catnapper. They played and fussed earlier with the long tunnel toy. It's odd but China is the one that is hissing,Minnie just stalks and pounces and Shy could care less.He is sleeping on Rhea's bed. 8:31 AM 8/10/2011 I have been up since 7 am.Fed China. The night was fairly uneventful.A few times I had to close the door so Minnie would not aggravate China.Lots of hissing and stalking going on.This am a new problem.China sleeps and plays in my huge Papasan and after eating and trying to get her to use the litter box she used the Papasan.I soaked it up with a paper towel and put it in her litter box.Really that is not my main concern at the moment. She is a climber and goes in back of the room dividers, and somehow manages to jump up on the top of them and then another jump straight on top of the bird cages.I am spraying and saying no alot.Seems worse then the terrible two's.I rearranged the living room to make the cages less accessible from the dividers but the room is small and the cages are huge.I am going to put cardboard on top of the cages to try to discourage her. That one day and night she was gone worked havoc on my cat programming :) 10:32 PM 8/10/2011 She peed in her litter box and poo pooed. Then Minnie used it too. 11:47 AM 8/11/2011 Was not awaken until almost 10:30 am.They let mama sleep in :)China is using the litter box but misses and goes in front of it sometimes. As far as I KNOW she did poo a little yesterday, last time was Monday when they came and took her from us.She likes the kitten dry purina one.So do Shy and Minnie. It's like a cat buffet around here.Today I need to vacumn.China has not been near the birdies nor on top of the room dividers. She lays low with her wee mouse that she bats around. She loves crumbled up wrapping paper too and the tunnel.Shy and Minnie seem like they are over the games.Maybe China will reawaken them to playfulness. She used the litter box again and did not miss this time :) 2:56 PM 8/11/2011 Put the fern plant in the kitchen. Now China sits at the very top of the cat tower on her little blue pillow. She also likes sitting in the window on her rooster pillow.I knew that would come in handy. She loves her treats.Minnie is in her cat napper sunning. 12:22 PM 8/13/2011 China peed and pooped in the papasan.I soaked it up and put the paper towel in her litter box,she just laid in the box when I placed her there to smell it.The kids are still scrapping every once in a while. I moved the litter box behind the room divider, maybe she needs some more privacy. |

| The Tauras Cat |
| Taurus: The Earth Mother
The Taurus Cat is totally unflappable...most of the time. This feline is impossible to shock and well able to hold his or her own in the face of danger...usually due to the fact that he or she is far too idle to get up and move out of the way. This cat's sraightforward approach to life will be easy to understand. The Taurus Cat is steady and dependable...always where the owner expects this cat to be and doing what is expected of him or her. In short, the Taurus Cat is a creature of habit and routine who will never...ever...do anything unpredictable and to whom catnaps are the breath of life. Physically, the Taurus Cat will be a large specimen...the kind of feline whose size is often a conversation piece and one remarked upon by all. He or she will also possess big, beautiful eyes and an equally huge appetite, which results in the health problem eventually experienced by most Taurus Cats...obesity. Food can prove to be the downfall of this feline, even if the owner is extremely careful and strict with diet. Lack of sustenance may be the only thing that will motivate the Taurus Cat to get up, go out and complain to the neighbors about the cruelty of his or her owner. This feline will also be adept at fooling everyone who enters the kitchen into thinking that nobody has remembered to feed him or her. When the Taurus Cat is awake, he or she is an amiable companion, well aware of which hand does the feeding...and determined to ensure that whoever owns that hand continues to be so generous. If it were not for the fact that this feline will spend most of his or her life dead to the world (rather like an inconveniently-placed ball of fur), the Taurus Cat would be the almost perfect cat. Laid-back, calm, tolerant and near impossible to ruffle, this feline could be described by some as boring and dogmatic. On the other hand, some believe that being around a Taurus Cat can lower blood pressure, cure migraines and add years to the life of an owner. It will be necessary to vacuum around, dust around and step over this feline. The Taurus Cat sleeps most of time and during slumber, nothing will awaken him or her. This cat rarely allows paws or torso to lose contact with a solid surface...partly because he or she will be too heavy to move very far, but more so through a genuine need to be in constant touch with the ground. The Taurus Cat has an innate affinity with the earth and will spend hours studying wild life, lying in the sun and not moving a muscle. It is foolish to expect this cat to become a "mouser" who will actually help out around the house by keeping down the number of unwanted intruders. To this feline, such an activity would be far too much like hard work. The female Taurus Cat truly comes into her own when she is allowed to breed...a life surrounded by kittens is her idea of bliss. Natives of many signs are appreciative of the more elusive yet finer points of the Taurus Cat...most notably Capricorn, Cancer and Virgo. Owners governed by any of these three Zodiac Signs will find the Taurus Cat to be ideal and have little problem in curbing the desire to hurry or chivvy this feline along. Since this cat tends to radiate peace and contentment, the Taurus Cat is a perfect companion for seniors and individuals troubled by illness or bouts of depression. In short, the Taurus Cat thrives in an atmosphere which is familiar and built upon routine. |
